The Oakland Symphony Chorus was founded in the fall of 1958. This means that the 2008-2009 season will be our:

50th Anniversary Season

The Oakland Symphony Chorus is the East Bay's premier community resource for choral performance and learning. In addition to collaborating with the Oakland East Bay Symphony and other fine performing arts groups, we offer educational opportunities to the general singing community. Our season runs from September to May; rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings in Oakland's Rockridge district. Auditions are held throughout the year.
