Haydn "Lord Nelson" Mass - Choral Workshop and Recital

Start the New Year off right!!!  Join members of the OSC for an energizing and enlightening workshop on Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass.  No fuss, no audition, just a wonderful opportunity to engage for six weeks to study this mass, learning more about its form and history and participating with the Oakland Symphony Chorus in a recital performance at Oakland's Christ the Light Cathedral.

This six week workshop meets on Wednesday nights from February 2 - March 9 with the recital performance on Saturday, March 12, 2011.  Workshops are scheduled from 7:30 - 10:00 pm at St. Peter's Church at Broadway & Lawton, Oakland.

Fee:  $60 with a special price of $55 for OSC Alums and singers 65+.  What a bargain.  One singing lesson would cost you at least this much and with Dr. Lynne Morrow directing, you will be getting six for the price of one.

Note:  Pre-workshop subscription sales are now closed.  You can still join OSC tonight at St. Peter's Church and pay $70 by cash or check at the door.  Sorry, we can't take credit cards at the door.
